About the Club
Tideswell Tennis Club was founded in 1999 after the completion of the Lottery-funded sport facilities.
We have two astro-turf and one tarmac court, all of which are floodlit. We share the facilities with other sports clubs in the village but have plenty of playing opportunities.
Regular coaching takes place on Saturday morning. 10 am for an hour for juniors and 11 till 1 for adults. The club coach is James Grindell, an LTA-registered coach. The club organises frequent tournaments, both single days and on-going seasonal competitions and has just initiated a club ladder.
We have regular social events throughout the year. We compete in the High Peak Tennis League and play friendlies with other clubs.
The women and men also hold annual training weekends at venues around the country.
